I hear you saying that leadership is learned. We learn traits like persistence, efficiency.... I agree and would add something that has changed my life. Adding vision to persistence, efficiency, etc. has made all the difference. I spent years doing the things you mention without vision and didn't get far. Since adding vision everything has changed.
