A leaders role is also to see that everyone from the top down understands the goals and their roles in the process. By maintaining communications at all levels they have access to information about the status and what is putting up roadblocks in the path. The major part of execution is follow up. To ensure that everyone has the tools they need to meet the goal. By having this open communications at all levels it is easier to get everyone to buy into the goal.
